Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in York County, South Carolina. The job is at a high-rise construction project. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire The role involves: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Full-time with occasional weekends.
