Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Dundee City, Scotland. The role involves: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling £2,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
