Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Franklin County, Tennessee. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling The role involves: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Six days a week, one day off.
