Great opportunity: banksman (Kano State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Kabo, Kano State. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day-to-day duties: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Six days a week, one day off.
