Now hiring: we are hiring a marble fixer in Dickenson County, Virginia. You will work on a hotel and villa renovation project. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish On a typical shift you will shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; work from cutting lists and installation drawings. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
