Join our team: GMAW welder (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Lee County, Virginia. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
