Furniture maker — Schoharie County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furniture maker in Schoharie County, New York. Your main tasks: • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Part-time with flexible hours.
