Shuttering carpenter wanted in Houston County

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Houston County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations You should have: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
