Head butcher — Mifflin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Day-to-day duties: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Season and marinate meat on request • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
