Port container crane operator • Song, Adamawa State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Song, Adamawa State. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. You will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
