Finishing plasterer wanted in Carroll County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Carroll County, Kentucky. You will be based at a new-build housing development. You should have: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Day-to-day duties: • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
