HSE officer • Alachua County, Florida

We are recruiting: we are hiring a HSE officer in Alachua County, Florida. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces On the job you will handle: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges We offer $220 per day plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
