Join our team: we are hiring a hand presser in Chugach Census Area, Alaska. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. You will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; give each garment a final press before packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 5+ years on the tools preferred.
