Powder coating technician • City of Chesapeake, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating technician in City of Chesapeake, Virginia. You should have: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting The role involves run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
