GMAW welder wanted in Morris County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Morris County, Texas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings The role involves control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
