Great opportunity: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Grundy County, Iowa. The job is in an insurance-approved repair centre. You will measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains. You should have: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench Rotating shifts.
