Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Boone County, Arkansas. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
