Now hiring: we are hiring an AC and fridge repair technician in Jasper County, South Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter What we are looking for: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
