Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Georgetown County, South Carolina. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. Requirements: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage On a typical shift you will set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
