Glazing assistant — Livingston Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a busy glazing workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Able to cut glass accurately to size Day to day you will handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; install toughened and laminated safety glass; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
