Pipe tig welder wanted in Dundee City

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Dundee City, Scotland. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day On the job you will handle: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Six days a week, one day off.
