Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Houston County, Texas. What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron The role involves set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
