Argon welder wanted in Kuban

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Kuban, Kaduna State. You will work on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
