Immediate opening: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Comal County, Texas. The role involves measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
