Great opportunity: we are hiring a retail butcher in Custer County, Montana. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry The role involves: • Season and marinate meat on request • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
