Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Geauga County, Ohio. The role involves excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience.
