Now hiring: heavy equipment operator (Minnesota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Saint Louis County, Minnesota. The job is at a landfill site. Your main tasks: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
