Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Webster County, Mississippi. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
