Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Clark County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred.
