Retail butcher wanted in Montour County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in Montour County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a supermarket meat department. The role involves break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling 2+ years on the tools preferred.
