Gtaw welder — Fremont County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Fremont County, Colorado. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
