Safety officer — North Lanarkshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The job is at an oil and gas facility. What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot You will inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports.
