Tig welder — Duval County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Duval County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
