HSE officer — Saint James Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HSE officer in Saint James Parish, Louisiana. The role involves: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
