Refrigeration installation technician • Story County, Iowa

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Story County, Iowa. You will be based in an HVAC service company. What we are looking for: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints On the job you will handle: • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
