Finishing presser • Throckmorton County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Throckmorton County, Texas. You will work at a garment factory. You will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
