Safety officer wanted in Audubon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Audubon County, Iowa. The job is at an oil and gas facility. You will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Full-time, day shift. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
