Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Clay County, Mississippi. You will be based in a garment export house. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases The role involves hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts.
