Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Genesee County, New York. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) You will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
