Skimming plasterer wanted in Acadia Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Acadia Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. You should have: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day The role involves apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster.
