Vacancy available: lift installation engineer (Texas)

Join our team: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Floyd County, Texas. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Day-to-day duties: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
