Argon welder • Idaho County, Idaho

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Idaho County, Idaho. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
