Sample machinist wanted in Carroll County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in Carroll County, Illinois. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience.
