We are recruiting: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Strafford County, New Hampshire. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner The role involves clear and reset tables between covers; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; upsell starters, desserts and beverages; take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery.
