Core maker wanted in Guilford County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Guilford County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred.
