Stainless steel welder wanted in DeKalb County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in DeKalb County, Illinois. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
