GMAW welder wanted in Tioga County

Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Your main tasks: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
