Immediate opening: argon welder (Louisiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. You will work on an industrial construction site. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
