Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Marquette County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day to day you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
