Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Yavapai County, Arizona. Your main tasks: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
